    1. School officials and people in their country feel as though girls take too much time doing hair. Therefore, every girl who attends school must cut their hair. Can you do more research on this to help us all with more answers?

  2. Whether other like it or not, they see their hair style as.....hair is also different from western woman and man hair style----This is why it is allowed to grow naturally and to have and keep its natural beauty.Human hair like the sun is considered in traditional afrika as a beauty that does not need make-up or a human push to be beautiful.Hence great care is taken to respect the shape and form of our afrikan hair.Great care it take to grow it naturally and to combo or weave it naturally or adorn it elegantly with head -kerchiefs as a way of honoring our afrikahair and hair style as life to be celebrated and enjoy but never to destroy with chemicals in the name of modernity or change or progress......

    1. I am a mother who did not allow her daughter to ever put chemicals in her hair. Today, she still has not had chemicals in her hair and she is 25-years old. I can say, that I have continued the Afrikan tradition as others in the Motherland.

  4. Comment: Its strange that in Ghana being late is not a big issue. For example how at Overbrook high school there is a late room for students to sit in when late to school.

  5. It's nice to see how the changing of one country's setting effects the other. Moreover, the idea of culture sharing speaks a lot with confidence and comfortability. To be able to travel, and spend time with someone who is not so different from is an insightful experience. Going to Ghana and enjoying yourslef seems like a womderful culture trip.

Question: Do you like the fact that Ghana's culture is not so different from us?

    Fact:
Ghana has a tropical climate, it is warm and comparatively dry along southeast coast; hot and humid in southwest; hot and dry in north. Rainy seasons are April - June and September - November in the center and south; March - September in the north.
